The one where Grandma Moses turns over in her Grave

Postcards Posted by Picasa

Tonight, I stamped some fabric for the tree PC swap. I'm looking at these and I can only think...bad, worse, grandma moses...etc. #1 on top is with the shiva oilsticks. They're iridescent, hence the shininess. #2 is stamped, stamped stamped...on top of watercolor. #3 is stamping on top of one of my old sun dye fabs...I'm getting a lot of mileage out of THOSE babies. I'm not going to turn in the oilstick one, and I'm PROBABLY not going to turn in the second one, either, since I was just testing to see how the stamps looked. #3 might be passable, with a little work. I took a look at the swaps I'd signed up for today...with more than a little desperation, I might add...I have to have 40 cards done by september!! I left Connecticut this afternoon to go home, and stopped at The Craft Menagerie. They had some nice mohair-y stuff on sale for 5 some odd bucks. I got 2 skeins, plus some matching Lopi and Alpaca to try to make a (yep, you got it) little purse! I made the most AWESOME Shish-ka-bob tonight, we all made pigs of ourselves, and now I'm trying to figure out my sound problem with my stupid computer. Thats enough for my stream of consciousness monologue. Gnight!
